The first step is to choose your shared room or your individual flat in one of the 6 cities where The Colivers is present. Then visit it from a distance, using photos and virtual tours! Once you’ve found the accommodation you want, you can book online by checking our availability dates in real time.

The second step is to click on the book button for the accommodation of your choice and answer the questions on the form. To confirm your pre-application, a deposit of €99 is payable at the end of the form! You will then receive an email to help you put together your application, and upload the supporting documents requested online.

You have 48 hours in which to complete your application and sign the contract in just a few clicks! An initial payment corresponding to the entry invoice – including the 1st month’s rent (pro rata from the date of availability), utilities, entry fee and deposit – will be initiated online. The €99 deposit you have already paid will, of course, be deducted from the sums due.

Last stop? All you have to do is join us! Check-in is completely autonomous, depending on your availability. Are you arriving late or at the weekend? Don’t panic, we’re flexible!

You must pay the following amounts before checking in:

  • Application fee ;
  • The security deposit, which is returned no later than one month after your departure if the accommodation complies with the inventory of fixtures on arrival;
  • The 1st rent on a pro rata basis, from the date the contract takes effect.

The rent includes the right to use the property, of course. It also includes the building’s communal charges (e.g. maintenance of the communal areas, lift, electricity in the corridors, cold water) and sometimes, when specified in the description of the accommodation, private utilities (electricity, heating, Wi-Fi).

The notice period is 30 days from the date of receipt of the request to return the property. You can send it by post with acknowledgement of receipt to the following address: The Colivers 11 place de la Joliette 13002 Marseille or by email to teamsales@thecolivers.com. A confirmation of receipt of your notice will be sent to you.

The minimum rental period is 30 days.

Of course you can! If you are interested in a shared room, and you make the request, our Sales team will be happy to pass on your details to the flatmates who are already living in the flat. That way, they’ll be able to give you lots more information about sharing!

Once you have signed your contract, you can make an appointment with the Sales team to carry out your check-in. Appointments can be made remotely, by telephone, email or online via a shared calendar. You will receive confirmation of the time and place.

The check-in takes around 20 minutes. There’s nothing to worry about, because everything is signed for and paid for! When you check in, our sales team will welcome you and hand over the keys.

The Sales team will also give you a pre-existing inventory of fixtures, but don’t panic! You have 7 days to note down any discrepancies you notice when you arrive at the property. Our team will then update your inventory.

Once our team has confirmed receipt of your notice, you can make an appointment with our Quality team by e-mail sav@thecolivers.com or by telephone 0970707332. The earlier the better, so that you can choose your slot more easily. If you don’t do this, our Quality department will contact you a few days before to offer you an appointment in one of the possible slots. A confirmation with the time and place will be sent to you. The appointment lasts around 40 minutes. Our Quality team will check that the inventory of fixtures on departure matches the inventory of fixtures on arrival. You sign the departure inventory of fixtures, which is sent to you by email. You must then return the keys and badges that were given to you on your arrival.

Once your inventory of fixtures has been completed, our Quality team will check that your outgoing inventory of fixtures is consistent with the incoming inventory of fixtures.

If this is the case, your security deposit will be returned to you by bank transfer no later than one month after your departure.

If there are any discrepancies between the inventory of fixtures on arrival and the inventory of fixtures on departure, deductions corresponding to the costs incurred in restoring the property will be applied to your security deposit, which will be returned to you by bank transfer no later than two months after your check-out.
